Privacy Notice

This notice explains how we process your personal data when you sign in with your Google account to download free software from crazypoint.com. It is provided under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

2. What data do we process?

• Your name, email address and Google account ID, as provided by your Google account
• The product and version you download, and the date and time of the download
• The country your connection comes from (your IP address is not stored)
• If you opted in to updates, your consent status and its date

3. Why do we process it?

• To provide the download service and prevent misuse
• To measure download numbers and improve our products
• To send essential notices about the product you downloaded (for example, the end of the free period or a security update)
• Only if you opted in, to email you about new versions and updates

4. Legal bases

KVKK Art. 5/2-c (processing directly related to the formation or performance of a contract) for providing the download service; Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest) for measuring downloads and preventing misuse; and Art. 5/1 (explicit consent) for update emails. Opting in to updates is optional; you can download without it.

5. Data transfers

Sign-in is handled by Google LLC’s authentication service; Google shares your name and email address with us only with your approval. The data is stored on the servers of our website hosting provider. Your data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies on this site:

• Session cookie (cpi_oturum): Set in your browser after you sign in to download. You are not asked to sign in again for 30 days. This cookie is not used for advertising or tracking.
• Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_1H4HBTGPP3): Help us understand how many people visit the site, which pages they view and where they come from. They are only turned on if you click “Allow” in the cookie banner; until then, no request is sent to Google. The service is provided by Google, and data may be processed on servers outside Turkey. The cookies stay in your browser for up to 2 years, and Analytics records are deleted after 14 months.

You can change your cookie choice here at any time. Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months.

7. Retention period

Your data is kept for 2 years from your last download; your consent to updates remains valid until you withdraw it. At the end of this period, the data is deleted or anonymized. Download numbers may be kept as statistics with no link to any person.

8. Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected, deleted or destroyed, to object to processing and to withdraw your consent to updates at any time. You can send your requests to info@crazypoint.com.
