Transcription, subtitles and translation for audio and video
CrazyPoint Whisper is a Windows application that transcribes audio and video files, prepares subtitles and, if you want, translates them into another language. We designed it for video editors, agencies and content creators: drag and drop a file and you get plain text (.txt) and subtitle (.srt) files.
Transcription runs on your own computer. Translation is optional and is done with AI based on the context of the whole text, not word by word.

Whisper brings these three jobs together in one window. It transcribes the audio on your computer, produces a ready-timed .srt subtitle file and, if you want, translates the text into another language in a way that fits its context. The subtitle file can go straight into your editing software or into tools such as Type Hook.
